Born and raised in Montreal, Catherine established herself in New York as a choreographer, eventually leaping towards audio engineering and relocating to Los Angeles. 

From Switzerland to Shanghai to Qatar, she went on to headline around the world under the moniker, DJ SynCity.

Her client list has garnered a palpable range of household names such as Calvin Klein, Chaka Khan, EA Sports, Tiger Woods, Adidas, People Magazine, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kevin Hart, BMW, Michael Jordan, Vogue Magazine, Justin Timberlake, NASCAR, 20th Century Fox, Eddie Murphy and more.

A hybrid creative, she moonlights as a DJ in parallel of pursuing her endeavors as a filmmaker and a photographer.

MUSIC

In 2004, Catherine worked at Chung King Studios and Bad Boy Entertainment. In 2012, she served as the A&R / Exec Producer of NBA player,  Metta World Peace’s imprint, AMG. Catherine was appointed as the Music Director for New York Fashion Week runway show. She produced an official dance remix that caught on the airwaves for Rico Love‘s “They Don’t Know” featuring Pitbull and Ludacris. FILM

Enrolled at UCLA studying Cinematography and Screenwriting under the tutelage of Larry Wilson, Harris Goldberg, she was one of the handpicked screenwriters for James Franco‘s ‘Evil Days’ Masterclass. Furthermore, she graduated RED Digital Cinema‘s REDUCATION, the Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 15 certification, and the CineMoves x ASC training. Catherine wrote and directed Day After Valentine's (Amazon Prime).

PHOTOGRAPHY

Catherine's knack for photography was discovered by a model agency via Instagram.  She went on to shoot for LA Style MagazineAmina Buddafly for her book cover and album cover, and Maxwell Dickson for their e-commerce. Her portfolio includes fashion campaignslook-books, and recording studios. She is inspired by the works of Steven Klein, Kristian Schuller, Miles Aldridge, Helmut Newton, and Annie Leibovitz.
