Catherine is a highly accomplished and versatile creative professional who has made a name for herself in the fields of choreography, audio engineering, and DJing. Born and raised in Montreal, she has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, and around the world as DJ SynCity, performing for a diverse array of high-profile clients including Calvin Klein, Chaka Khan, EA Sports, Tiger Woods, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, People Magazine, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Kevin Hart, BMW, Michael Jordan, Vogue Magazine, Justin Timberlake, NASCAR, 20th Century Fox, and Eddie Murphy.
MUSIC
In 2004, Catherine worked at Chung King Studios and Bad Boy Entertainment. In 2012, she served as the A&R / Exec Producer of NBA player, Metta World Peace’s imprint, AMG. Catherine was appointed as the Music Director for New York Fashion Week runway show. She produced an official dance remix that caught on the airwaves for Rico Love‘s “They Don’t Know” featuring Pitbull and Ludacris. (Billboard Magazine)
FILM
Enrolled at UCLA studying Cinematography and Screenwriting under the tutelage of Larry Wilson, Harris Goldberg, she was one of the handpicked screenwriters for James Franco‘s ‘Evil Days’ Masterclass. Furthermore, she graduated RED Digital Cinema‘s REDUCATION, the Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 15 certification, and the CineMoves x ASC training. Catherine wrote and directed Day After Valentine's (Amazon Prime).
PHOTOGRAPHY
Catherine's knack for photography was discovered by a Los Angeles model agency via Instagram. She went on to shoot for LA Style Magazine, Amina Buddafly for her book cover and album cover, and Maxwell Dickson for their e-commerce. Her portfolio includes fashion campaigns, look-books, and recording studios. Fast-forward to present, she ventured into capturing images for athletic apparels and for the medicinal cannabis industry.
