Music

Catherine’s journey into the music industry began at just 14, when she landed an internship at BMG Canada, a rare feat that foreshadowed her future in the business. Four years later, she was already making waves in New York City, joining the Cornerstone/Fader Magazine family, where she sharpened her skills in marketing.

Her ascent continued in 2004 when she assumed a key role at Bad Boy Entertainment under Universal Music Group in the Mixshow Radio Department. This experience led her to assume the positions of A&R and Executive Producer for NBA player Metta World Peace's Artest Media Group, cementing her reputation as a powerhouse in the industry.

A decade later, her production prowess was on full display when Rico Love enlisted her to produce the official dance remix of "They Don’t Know" featuring Pitbull and Ludacris—a track that quickly became chart-topping on DJCity.

Film

While studying Cinematography and Screenwriting at UCLA, Catherine Ouellette honed her craft under the guidance of industry luminaries like Larry Wilson (Beetlejuice, Addams Family) and Harris Goldberg (Deuce Biggalo, Matthew Perry's Numb). Her talent was quickly recognized, earning her a spot as one of the select screenwriters in James Franco’s prestigious ‘Evil Days’ Masterclass. Beyond her academic achievements, Catherine also completed RED Digital Cinema’s REDUCATION program, earned Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve 15 certification, and underwent specialized training with CineMoves x ASC.

Catherine’s cinematic journey culminated in her writing and directorial debut with Day After Valentine’s, now streaming on Amazon Prime, showcasing her distinct storytelling voice to a global audience.
